Adobe Summit is one of my favorite marketing operations conferences. It’s a great chance to hear from Marketo Engage power users, learn about the latest innovations, and get a sneak peek into the Marketo Engage roadmap. Although I dearly miss catching up with everyone in Vegas, Adobe’s done a great job turning Summit into a virtual experience. If you didn’t have a chance to catch any of the Adobe Summit 2022 sessions live, they’re available on demand. Here are some of my favorites:
Diagnosing and Treating an Inherited Marketo Engage Instance
I just love the way that Britney Young of McKesson systematically approaches auditing a Marketo Engage instance. She recognizes that you have to start with a “health history” to understand the people and processes behind the technology. I also love a good presentation theme, and this one did not disappoint.
I always look forward to the Marketo Engage roadmap session. So many features and products to get excited about! This year we heard from Venu Tavisala, Sr. Director, Product Management for Adobe Marketo Engage. The 2022 roadmap is centered around three themes: better together, innovation for experience, and future-proof investments. Venu covered a whole slew of upcoming releases, including dynamic chat, sales actions in Marketo Sales Insight, and the further rollout of the “next-generation experience” new UI.
Tricking Out Marketo Engage: Leveraging Recent Innovations
This session was unique because it gave us the opportunity to see how three new Marketo Engage features work together in the real world. Chris Willis of Trimble presented with Andy Paul from the Marketo Engage Product team. They showed how dynamic chat, executable campaigns, and Marketo Sales Insight actions all work together across the buyer journey. (P.S. Dynamic chat is rolling out to customers now, ask your CSM if you want to get it added to your instance).
Did you attend Adobe Summit 2022? I’d love to know what your favorite sessions were and what you learned from them.
